Curriculum

As a school we are proud of the curriculum that we offer to all our children at all ages and abilities. Alongside delivering the National Curriculum and Primary Strategies for Literacy and Numeracy, we have also developed and innovated our school curriculum to include up to date methods of teaching (Visual Literacy), creativity and new initiatives such as Read Write Inc’, when all the children in Reception and KS1 work in groups every morning to develop their reading skills.

Across all year groups the curriculum is designed to be broad and stimulating for all the children whilst at the same time ensuring that basic skills important to a child’s development are delivered and practised.
We hope that all children, when looking back at their time at Spalding Primary, will feel that their time was one of enjoyment, stimulation and pride in what they achieved.
