Another ‘WOW’ event within the school saw Year 4 pupils have their learning take a hands-on approach when they found themselves face to face with a tractor. Pupils had chance to learn about how the tractor operated and the machinery that can be used with it. This was part of the pupils learning relating to foods from around the world and where and how they are farmed. Many questions were asked and answered as children, staff and governors were all involved in finding out and sharing information about the farming world with the children. The children then had the opportunity to find out about what farming was really like, when they had the change to ascend the steps to the lofty heights of the tractor cab.
A wonderful learning experience for the children and a huge thanks to Rob Immink from Gregoire Besson for their support in the experience.
