ACORN 12 - 6th March 2020

Book Fair

Don’t forget to come along to our Book Fair which is taking place in the school hall at 3.15pm this evening, and again on Monday evening.  There are lots of exciting books and other items to purchase.  You can bring along your £1.00 World Book Day vouchers and put this towards the cost of a book if you wish.

Smile please!!

Our photographers will be in school on Wednesday 18th March when they will be taking whole class photographs.  Please make sure your child is dressed in correct uniform (including a jumper/cardigan) and that all hair decorations are in school colours.  Please also note that hair decorations should be small.  If your child comes to school wearing a big hair decoration, they will be asked to remove it as this will draw attention away from the children’s faces. As we (and I am sure you) want children to look as smart as possible in the photograph, if your child does not have a jumper/cardigan with them, they will be borrowing one from another child or the lost property box.

If, for any reason, you do not wish your child to be in the class photograph, please inform the class teacher by Monday 16th March.

There will be an opportunity for you to purchase the photograph, but as always, there is no obligation for you to do so.

Kingswood Residential Visit – May 2020

We will be holding a meeting for Parents/Carers of children who are going to Kingswood on Monday 20th April 2020 at 2.30pm. A letter and important paperwork is coming home with your child this evening.  Please complete the necessary paperwork and return it to school as soon as possible, but by Friday 20th March at the very latest. Thank you.
