Reception and Year 6 Height and Weight Checks We have been informed that these checks will take place on Monday 3rd February 2020.
Parent/Carer Questionnaire - On Monday 20th January, your child will bring home a Questionnaire. Can we please ask that you take a few minutes to consider this, complete it and return it to school by Friday 24th January 2020. Your opinions will help us to develop and improve our service to ensure all pupils get the most out of their education. Thank you.
After School Clubs
There are a few spaces available in the following clubs :
KS1 – Tuesday Multi-skills
KS2 - Tuesday Netball / Wednesday Tri-Golf / Wednesday lunchtime Chess / Thursday Hula Hooping / Friday Yoga
In the first instance, places in clubs will be allocated on a first come first served basis to those children who are not currently involved in any other club.
If your child would be interested in joining one of the above clubs, please call into the office to complete a form.
Is your child eligible for Pupil Premium Funding? This funding is available for children whose parents are in receipt of certain benefits. It entitles your child to free meals during KS2, free milk, 50% discount on school trips (including residential trips), discounted music tuition, additional teaching support, and help with purchasing uniform and equipment. If you think your child might be eligible, or if you would like further information, please call into the school office in confidence.
11+ Registration – Year 5 children only
Please return your child’s 11+ Registration form to our school office by Friday 7th February 2020 at the very latest. If you are sure your child does not wish to take the tests, please indicate this on the slip attached to the bottom of our letter to you, and return this to the school office by Friday 7th February 2020. Thank you.

Kids’ Club / Nursery Assistant - Would you like to be an assistant in our Outstanding Nursery and Kids’ Club?
Wygate Foundation Nursery School are looking for a dynamic reliable and flexible person to join our already successful team. It would be desirable to be qualified to NVQ level 3 or above. This would be a full time position working in our Breakfast Club from 7.15am to 9.00am, in our Playgroup from 9.00am until 12.15pm and then returning in the afternoon to work in our After School Club from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.
During the school holidays you would be helping in our Holiday Club from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Hours of work may be negotiable.
